The Fondazione Roberta di Camerino for Palazzo Mocenigo
With the reopening of Palazzo Mocenigo, the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia is also inaugurating a “new course” for this museum which, in response to the challenges of today’s world, aims to be more topical through a dialogue between the arts and through a fruitful exchange with contemporary forms and artistic languages.
Continuing its natural vocation of venue dedicated to the study of the special features of fashion and costume from the 18th century to the present day, which will be further developed thanks to a special focus on the art and fashion collecting world, the museum will also be expanding to include a series of collaborations and synergies with leading institutions operating in these sectors.
And it is in interpreting this spirit that we should regard the collaboration with a Venetian excellence known throughout the world, the “Fondazione Roberta di Camerino”, which has enthusiastically responded to the opportunity of hosting one of its first exhibitions dedicated to the celebrated Venetian designer, Giuliana Camerino, in art Roberta di Camerino, in the next few months in the renovated museum at San Stae.
